Review on 🌊 Mist UKF8001 Replacement Water Filter for Whirlpool Maytag Refrigerators – Compatible with 4396395, EDR4RXD1, Pur Filter 4, Kenmore 46-9005 by John Galbraith

This filter worked very differently than the original brand! The last time I was at Lowe's my filter was sold out so I looked online and ordered one from Revain. This time I couldn't find the filter I needed online so I ordered the Mist filter based on all the rave reviews. big mistake. After I installed the filter and started flushing the line, this black stuff came out of the water dispenser. This has never happened before. I washed off the recommended amount of water plus a little to get rid of the water's bad taste. I was somewhere between chemical and plastic taste. I flushed the line a second time, same bad taste. For some reason I thought if I came back in a few days I would magically have delicious water again, but I didn't. I ended up returning the filters for a refund and went to Lowe's. Luckily they were in stock, plus a $40 coupon for 2 or more filters. I don't write many reviews, but I should have warned everyone, everyone, about the risk of buying this filter.
