These are not really absorbent. At least not for Florida humidity. I usually buy the terry cloth headbands but those are not very cute nor keep much of my hair out of my face. I bought these and they do keep my hair away from my face but they don't absord much. I still get sweat in my eyes and running down my face during an hour workout. I'll use them during the few cooler months we get in Florida but I'll have to to stick to the terry cloth ones during the Summer.
