This pump was pretty easy to install and set up. I downloaded pre-filtered from a transparent source. The suction lift of the pump was 6 feet. The pump was used to fill the water reservoir. The average requirement was 250 gallons per day. The flow of water into the tank was controlled by a float valve. There was a 40-gallon in-line pressure tank to reduce pump cycles. The pump worked fine for 5 weeks and died. I checked the power supply and tapped the pressure sensor to see if it would restart. Couldn't find anything to fix and the pump is not user serviceable. The return window closed 6 days ago. I understand it was a cheap pump. Maybe I just got a lemon. In any case, I expected a little more and am disappointed with this pump. UPDATE: I contacted the seller and he replied that a faulty float valve and cycling too fast (which is unlikely with a 40 gallon pressurized tank in line) was the cause of the pump failure.
