Review on Wi-Fi adapter TP-LINK TL-WN822N, white by Bhavin Kalant ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

A wonderful product, it's nice to use.

Among external Wi-Fi receivers, this one is definitely among the best for your money (*if it's not v3) And it worked for a couple of years without problems, but then it started . Unable to withstand the lags, realizing that nothing could be done with firewood, I threw it into a box and bought another one, twice as expensive, but with 5GHz support. There used to be another review here, quite laudatory, but what can you do .) When buying, be sure to look at the hardware version and not take the third one.

Pros
  • * Good receiver * Thanks to the USB cord, you can move in space * Wound up on ten and on ubuntu (16.04) without dancing with a tambourine.
Cons
  • On ubuntu, the firewood in the kernel is crooked, it works for a while, then the network starts to fail. If you download Realtek's, then everything is OK (and the reception will be much better). There have never been any problems on Vend (I didn’t install firewood from the disk). + after a couple of years of use, I would add that at some point I became wildly stupid, the network began to lag and disappear. And nothing helped, that on ubuntu, that on the top ten, in the end I bought another one from asus for 3 thousand. Perhaps the driver has been ated, or maybe the fact is that the terms of use have changed a little. Judging by the Internet, this applies specifically to the hardware version 3, like mine.
