Due to the pandemic I have been teaching choir from home for the past year and am looking for a boom microphone that will allow me some flexibility and mobility in my virtual choir classes. I understand you get what you pay for, but this article doesn't even do it justice. My main concerns: The boom cannot hold a regular SM58 mic without tipping down. I was pretty strong and tightened the screw until my fingers snapped, but the mic kept sagging until it was on the table. Eventually, out of frustration, I decided to just glue it where I needed it. I hope you can get an idea of what it looks like in the picture. Another issue, albeit a small one, is that two of the cord clips came loose within 2 minutes of use. Useless. I ended up just using the roller tapes I had at home. At this point it's not even worth returning it because by the time I get my refund and replacement it's the end of the school year. The only good thing about this one is that it ships quickly and the tripod seems to be holding up so far. I should have listened to the negative reviews. Buyer Warning.
