Review on Effortless Maintenance with Show Chrome Accessories 201 Oil Filter Wrench by Jordan Weakland

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I finally got the stuck filter out of my Honda 919

When I got my new used bike I took it to a thief to inspect and remove a few service related parts including the oil. and filter change. But when they changed the filter, they didn't lubricate the gasket on the filter (and tightened it like crazy). idiots. So I couldn't remove that damn filter and didn't change it in 2 oil changes. I know, I know. In my defence, I don't drive too many miles and I've read that you don't have to change the filter with every oil change. But I know. it sounds terrible. I've tried several filter wrenches and they have slipped off or the pressure tubes have gotten in the way. I didn't want to use the screwdriver method and pierce the filter. So I finally read about this key on one of the forums. The thing did its job. It didn't come off at first, but after using the magic of WD40 to penetrate the sealant, it eventually came off. I was so happy and relaxed. you know what i'm talking about As the description says, it fits into the filter head like a box wrench and you can safely apply a good amount of torque to the filter without fear of it slipping or breaking. I would recommend it to anyone in a similar stuck filter situation. hp My oil came out nice and amber and the filter looked fine. As I said, short kilometers between changes. WORLD!
