Review on Royal Canin Senior Cat Food - Aging 12+ Thin Slices In Gravy, 3 Oz Cans by Marty Wainwright

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great food for older cats!

My cat is 13 years old and her age was showing in her activity level and in her movements. I was concerned about her joint health as she was having difficulty making certain jumps (jumps onto the bed, couch, cat tree, etc.); I tried giving her joint supplement treats but she hates them. I started looking for other ways to trick her into taking joint supplements and that was when I found Royal Canin for 12+! I decided to let my cat try it and to my surprise she loved it. Now she is getting the proper nutrients for her age and it really shows. She is able to make those difficult jumps again and she runs around chasing the other cats with vigor. If you have an older cat and you are concerned about their health and getting proper nutrients for their age group, then I highly recommend Royal Canin 12+ canned food or hard/dry food! My cat loves both and she is healthy and active like my other cats that are 2-3 years old!

Pros
  • Royal Canin has years of experience in developing specialized food for senior pets, so you can trust their expertise
Cons
  • Not recommended for cats with behavioral problems

Royal cain senior cats. Bailey, about 16 yrs old, likes this. Only giving her about 1/2 OR 1/3 OF CAN WITH canned (regular people food) chicken. She throws up on just about anythikng else. She is doing OK with just a small portion. Am giving to her every few days.
