Not suitable for heavy wall wheels (e.g. steel truck wheels)

The valve stems are well designed for the price but not suitable for my application. I bought these to use with a set of old steel rims (1985 Ford 8-bolt wheels) but they absolutely don't work. A very small rim of rubber around the top intended to hold the valve stem in place (and to cover the hole on the outside of the wheel) is not far enough from the inner rim of rubber to work with such wheels. Basically the width to allow the wheel to seal between the top and bottom rubber rings is too small for these old (very common) wheels. I'll have to buy a different style (threaded) to work. Hope this helps others.
