Review on 3630 Innova Remote Starter Switch by Eric Fish

Revainrating 1 out of 5

Poor quality, melts on first use.

The first negative review I read was exactly the same as mine. I used it to try to start my 420cc single cylinder lawn mower. See, and she had trouble starting. The wires on the remote starter got so hot I thought they were going to melt or catch fire. I thought my battery was dead but the battery was fully charged. A brain-dead reviewer disagreed, saying you should connect it to the low-voltage side. No, my Snap On MT 302 remote starter hooked up just like that and wouldn't melt or catch fire and revved the engine just fine. The remote snap-on starter didn't even get hot. Judging by the wiring on both remote starters, the Innova is cheaply made and not worth buying. You get what you pay for. I bought this to use on my lawnmower while waiting for a new ignition switch to arrive and not have to worry about losing or damaging it because it was cheap. But it can't crank the engine until it melts or wants to catch fire.
