baby button. - Switches and Relays

I am leaving this review to test your expectations, the wires on it are not heavy enough to carry enough amps to even fully power my 406's mini starter. It could work for quads and Subaru. but if you have a little more I'd go for the $40 "Heavy Duty" if you don't like hearing a faint noise when the Bendix tries unsuccessfully to turn on.

Pros
  • Dope 🔥
Cons
  • Frequency

It is not designed for starter current.

Remote Start Switch is well made and does the job with ease. I've read some reviews that it's blown but the operator must be smarter than the equipment he's operating. I used it to troubleshoot an old Ford 8N tractor and had plenty of time to change. The solenoid and battery wire was hotter than the switch wire. It is not designed to carry starter current, it merely supplies current to the solenoid.

Pros
  • Consistent Test Results
Cons
  • Easily Repairable

Use a screwdriver and save money! GARBAGE!

I used it to start my mower once. The starter turned slowly and the wires were so hot you could smell the body melting. Pulling the trigger feels like you're crushing the assembly. A very cheap product. Pay more attention to negative reviews about this product than positive ones. At first I thought my battery was dead, but one flick of a screwdriver and the mower started right up and ran erratically. Wouldn't recommend this to anyone!

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • Cord is shorter than others

Good quality and even instruction manual

Usually cheap imports fall apart on arrival - not this bad boy. It's durable and has a smooth trigger that seems to last a hundred uses. And believe it or not, it comes with a well-written user manual with great instructions. This is NOT made in China! Close by but it's not China, I will be following INNOVA products in the future and if this tool is an indicator of all their products I will buy it. Thanks for the quality at a good price.

Pros
  • Hands free operation
Cons
  • Good but not great

Better than I expected!

Was able to use this to start my 12,000w alternator that had an electric start/solenoid failure; Used this to route power directly to the starter and it worked fine! The wire was a little warm, but not enough to worry about. won't accidentally trigger it, think about how far you would pull the trigger on a firearm, it's a similar feeling. And that's good! You don't want to accidentally start the engine! :D

Pros
  • Best in niche
Cons
  • Long delivery time

Good product for ignition starters

Works fairly well and has many diagnostic applications especially those that require long cranking with ECM and full fuel cut off. You can also more easily wrap the amplifier probe around one of the wires. The wires can withstand a lot of current. I'm glad I bought it. My only caveat with using this tool is obvious: NEVER start the engine when the car is on and in gear. Always make sure the car is in parking mode and the key is removed when using this tool, as the tool opens up the possibility…

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Some difficulties

Works great and good quality for the money.

This is a must if you enjoy working with the engine and need to turn the key to set the time etc. This device works great and does exactly what it is supposed to. I used it to find and install the TDC on my old Ford pickup so I could set the time. I've also used it to set the gap on my points (yes I haven't upgraded to pertronics yet). In any case. Great shop tool. The materials are solid and the wiring is good for running tests. Remember to disconnect the coil lead first as some engines can be

  • Everything is fine!

Valve Lash Retainer

This remote start switch was purchased to make it easier to adjust the valve lash on my classic muscle car with heavy tappets. It was a great price and seems durable enough. The battery is in my trunk so I extended the wires on both wires and it worked like a champ. It's a lifesaver and really saves time. I've read from other people that the switch was very hard to press and mine wasn't. It feels sturdy and makes a nice click when you pull. Others wired it wrong and melted it down. You simply…

Poor quality, melts on first use.

The first negative review I read was exactly the same as mine. I used it to try to start my 420cc single cylinder lawn mower. See, and she had trouble starting. The wires on the remote starter got so hot I thought they were going to melt or catch fire. I thought my battery was dead but the battery was fully charged. A brain-dead reviewer disagreed, saying you should connect it to the low-voltage side. No, my Snap On MT 302 remote starter hooked up just like that and wouldn't melt or catch fire…
