Effective but useless
Pieces break off all the time. Eventually, the person locates and picks up wet pieces of deodorant from the floor, then attempts to use the deformed residue for as long as possible (usually until the next large piece falls). I constantly regretted the money I collected off the floor to throw away. Yes, deodorant is effective, but you can't use it.
