Perfect surf/pool/slide/shorty! I'm a Smatree addict! They just make great products. Every product I have purchased has been of the highest quality. This one is no exception. This racket is the perfect size for body surfing, pool slides, sledding and other recreational activities. Carbon fiber (yes, real carbon fiber, not an appliqué) is not only very light and strong, but it also floats. I tested this with both Hero 3+ Black and Hero 4 Session. And in his affairs and in it he swam normally. When surfing it was the perfect length to get in front of the board and capture the action. The same goes for the pool. I went the other way for tobogganing. The stick would probably be fine, but it has a standard 1/4-20 thread in the base that the wrist strap fits into. Take it out and expand your mounting options. On my slide, I simply tightened and released the 1/4-20 x 1/2" stainless steel screw on the front. It stayed secure and made amazing videos. When I was done, I simply unscrewed it. The other end of the die Pole is equally well thought out and made from high quality material.The standard GoPro style mount is aluminum with an integrated nut.It makes attaching/detaching/replacing cameras a breeze.Smatree have done it again with the perfect pole!
