I bought these for a typical bourbon cocktail I made for Christmas. I wanted quantity hoping to get quality. It's good solid glass and looks good, but I'm not crazy about them. They're a little hard to figure out how to grip comfortably. Once you understand that, you will really have a good grip :). While the shape is attractive, it's not what I'm used to from a bourbon glass. They are a bit narrow below. I kept them because I know I will only use them occasionally for a crowd and they look good. I wouldn't recommend it for "everyday" use. I prefer more traditional bourbon glasses.
