There was 1/8 inch thick solid wire in the brick wall between the cement but the drill bit cut through with no problem. Used a dry drill. I ordered a pilot drill which made it a bit easier to start the drilling process, but I removed the pilot drill after drilling a few inches. I made two 2.5" holes for two ductless air conditioners/heaters. The SDS connector attachment worked as expected. Excellent value for money and quality. I'm not sure how many more times I can use the drill before it dulls, but for the price and value I'm very happy with the purchase. 👍🏻👍🏻
