My 6 year old is very smart and loves challenging projects. I thought origami would be great because it challenges even me! This one seemed age-appropriate to him with its guidelines and animal faces. I'm really surprised by the variety of shapes. Some of them are easier and some are more difficult. I had to re-familiarize myself with what a double square and a triangle are, but luckily the instructions show how to do it all right at the beginning. Once you master them you will know how to make all the basic shapes. Each form lists what it is and which page it can be found on. There are 54 pages, so just a lot of stuff to create, making it a great stat collection. It's a hobby that requires precision and patience and it's great for my son to have something to do. Paper quality is good too.
