I'm here to give you my honest opinion on the latest MONODEAL portable CD player, which you gave me in exchange for this review. As such, this is a paid review, but honestly I was so impressed I probably would have written it anyway. In a word, it's fantastic. A few years ago I went back to school. During this time, fellow students exchanged many files, many of them on CDs. Many of the files were in multiple formats. They all played perfectly for me. I listened to the recordings under adverse conditions. Whether I was walking or jogging, I couldn't get the CD player to jump. In their literature, Monodeal claims 12 hours of playtime with no volume loss. I assume that's true. However, I ran the CD player on a full charge for just over 10 hours. There was no loss of functionality, the volume didn't fluctuate and there were no dropouts despite over 10 hours of use. My only concern is that the charging cable provided by the manufacturer is an older version and not the 'C' type that charges my phone. I was listening to sheet music and music in stereo through the headphones provided by the manufacturer. The player itself does not have its own speakers. They include an (AUX) cable that allows you to play CDs through the speakers of other devices such as a car stereo or dedicated stereo. So if you have a lot of music or a long digital book, this player is perfect for on the go. Since it doesn't have its own speakers, the player itself is fairly thin and sleeker than you'd expect. Your purchase decision has been made. If you are looking for a CD player, you must buy this one. I would.
