So I have very severe allergies and have just installed a new air conditioner and duct system. For some reason my bedroom got more dust. So I studied them, took a risk, bought them and installed them on the ceiling of my bedroom. It's easy to do it yourself. Simply unscrew the vent by cutting the material a little more than the vent. Using sticky Velcro, they attach a piece to each of the four sides of the vent. Turned on that screen and voila! My dust has been greatly reduced. And I feel a lot better because the air in my room is cleaner. Airflow through the screen is just as good as without it, but it catches all the dust. Very glad I bought them. And they give you plenty so I can have all my vents or just have plenty to replace when the need arises. Oh, and I originally bought something similar from a home store, but the size was too small for my vents. So it's better you can tailor yourself to fit.
