Just buy it. good for me

I did a lot of research before purchasing this monitor and was still skeptical when it arrived. The frame and overall look weren't nearly as sleek as the LG monitor it replaced, and my first impression was that it was bulky. There's a headphone stand on the back of the monitor, which is poorly designed and feels delayed. The package includes a monitor, an HDMI cable, a display port cable, a power cable and a USB cable for downloading monitor drivers. The included instructions are lacking and the menus were initially unintuitive. I also immediately noticed blurring of letters coming from a 2560x1080 monitor to this one. I followed Tomshardware's recommended settings for this monitor and it helped a bit, but I still felt underwhelmed. So overall, based on my first impressions, I was rather disappointed. Then I started Overwatch and all my frustration quickly went away. I was immediately struck by how fluid the gameplay was. No blur, no lag, just silky smooth. The low resolution I noticed while surfing the web was quickly forgotten and the game looked fantastic. Even after 3 hours of gameplay I couldn't get over how smoothly everything was going. I used to have excessive screen tearing, but that was fixed with Free Sync. All in all, if you are looking for a monitor that is mainly dedicated to gaming, do not hesitate to buy it. It's fantastic for the price. If you're looking for an all-purpose monitor for productivity, movies, streaming, and light gaming, there are better options.
