This is the same cord I removed from the vacuum. It installed without any problems. Unscrew the bottom from the top and separate the two halves and cut the black and white wire on the old cable as close to the molded grommet as possible, this will give enough length to connect the new cable. They included turning the nuts to make the connection. Combine black with black and white with white, just assemble, done.
