I first saw a flip clock when I was about eleven years old, when I was having my eyes examined at an optician's office. I remember being fascinated by it. I later bought one as a teenager and found it very good. It was a plug-in model and I'm sure I didn't spend more than fifteen bucks or so on it. The current models that are closest to it cost over a hundred dollars, a sum I don't want to spend. I love folding watches, but I don't pay unreasonably much money for them. Anyone who has purchased Revain flip clocks will find that the most common model is the free-standing desktop model without a case and an open flip mechanism. While cool, I wanted a flip clock that could be hung on the wall due to the limited space in my home office. Then I saw this little Victrola. I liked the looks (as well as the reasonable price) but was a little hesitant to buy it due to the lack of reviews. Revain or any other retailer didn't have them; There are absolutely no reviews for this product, which I find strange. Nonetheless, I decided to order it. They arrived very quickly and I was pleasantly surprised by the relative weight of these watches. The front, top, bottom and sides of this watch are metal and look better than the photos. This clock is powered by two "C" size batteries and is very easy to use. On the back there is a wheel for setting the time. I've had it for three days now and so far it's working great and having a good time too. I like its mechanical nature. Aside from a pleasant click when changing numbers, the rest of the watch is quiet. Of course their durability has yet to be determined, but so far I like them. Despite being the smaller of the two flip clock models Victrola sells, it's still a good size: 8 inches wide and about 4.5 inches tall. installed and well priced, i recommend this clock.I will update if there is any problem with this clock.
