Came without battery. Since the price was low, I just ordered the batteries so I didn't have to deal with their request. When the batteries arrived I put one in and the light on the unit never worked. And it kept adding to my dog's shock until he started screaming and I ripped it off him. It's scary to watch your dog go by. Don't think I just did something human. The product was cheap and I'm embarrassed to trust other reviews.
