Pros: This is a very compact and easy to use device. The speakers are on top, the volume is more than sufficient. The warranty can be extended up to 3 years according to the registration offer. The device arrived well packaged and in new condition. This CD player will come in handy because of its simplicity. In fact, there is only one button for all functions: hold it down to switch modes. FM radio with the antenna fully extended sounds very clear. Once again, the best features are speakers, size and simplicity. Battery life is good. I use rechargeable Ds and they last a decent travel time. It also comes with a home/office cable. Simple direct repeat function. Very light and compact making it travel friendly and you have a choice of AC/DC power supply. The USB port is very convenient as I have loaded a lot of music onto portable drives that I can connect. This feature works very well. Not very good: The cable is short, about 36 inches. When I use this to play the piano to play along with the music, I have found that the cable stretches a bit when I sit on the piano. The FM tune button requires some work to get the stations you want, but it doesn't. finally looking for the right frequency. Stupidly I thought that the bluetooth function would allow the use of bluetooth headphones. no This is for connecting to another Bluetooth device for playback via best I can tell. In any case, the connected headphones work normally. I bought an Oakcastle Bluetooth portable CD player that has a Bluetooth headphone connection. When I see Bluetooth, I think of headphones. This is a clearly missing feature on this device. Be warned: there are no Bluetooth headphones for this device. There is a headphone jack and my monitor headphones work pretty well with it. Function keys are both a blessing and a curse. The multifunctional controls always require some practice, but it takes very little time to master. down. Summary: I have many, many CD players, and they all have their good and bad qualities. This is a nice addition and will be useful not only for playing CDs clearly and distinctly, but also for FM radio. Simplicity is good, and I'd recommend this CD player if you're looking for a quick setup device for use at home and on the go. The price is also good for what you get. The USB port and feature is a plus. The only downside is the lack of true Bluetooth functionality, which I was hoping for and sadly didn't get.
