Review on Duracell Alkaline Battery V23GA GP23A by Candace Carpenter

Batteries we got when installing new lighted ceiling fans worked for a while. The remote control was plugged into the circuit where the light switch went, but it still had a battery in it. After a while, the fan and light stopped working at all. It later turned out that the remote control, although connected to the circuit, still required a 23A 12V battery. Bought Duracell (I prefer this brand because I think they are more reliable) from Revain, installed them and they worked like clockwork! Buy four more and keep them in the fridge for storage until you need them.
