The only reason this product got 2 stars is because the customer service was great and willing to find a solution to any problems. I would not recommend this product. I would spend the extra $75 and get better lighting from B&H Photography. If you can't afford the extra $75, get this product and buy B&H's best coaster for an extra $30. The included stand is rubbish if you're trying to use a DSLR. See comments below for more details on the stand and included light. Photo 1: The rivet that attaches the 1/4 International Standard Universal Interface to the bracket does not appear to be holding the UI securely to the bracket. It lifts and wobbles when the ring lamp and camera are attached. Photo 2. The place where the ring lamp attaches to the 1/4" interface on the stand is always loose and wobbly no matter how I tighten the screw. Metal is easily damaged if the screw is overtightened to secure it. It was frustrating because when I dragged the light to where I wanted and let go of the ring light, the camera went down another 2-3 inches before it stopped falling. There were a few cases where the ring light and camera made popping noises and moved diagonally down even though I didn't touch the stand. It was even worse when the camera was placed in the light. Photo 5 - The stand tilts and bends under the weight of the camera and ring lamp, making it difficult to fine-tune the camera for the shot. Photo 6. The tripod slowly shrinks under the weight of the camera and ring light. It would be worse if I tried to move the stand to install it. One thing I didn't catch was the pan and tilt. I had trouble keeping the camera parallel to the ground because I couldn't tighten the pan/tilt head enough to hold the camera tight enough to stay parallel to the ground. The screw was not tightened enough.
