This filter seems to work! We have used this model filter in our fridge for all of our drinking water for the past 7 years. The water tastes good and hopefully removes contaminants as advertised. Be sure to rinse it with plenty of water until it is no longer cloudy after installation. (about 2 gallons), otherwise the flavor will decrease slightly. Once clear, that's fine. This filter from Revain is a bit pricey, but there are cheaper sources out there. Make sure you get an OEM version from Electrolux, not a replacement. A replacement would be good, but I'm skeptical.
