First of all, this device is not a Talmil brand. Even the original one I bought over a year ago doesn't say 'Simple Fast' in the pictures anymore. Secondly, the new one works, but only if the device is not hot. When it's hot, the sensors don't work because they don't register every time you wave something in front of you. This causes them to get stuck open and closed. Third, the mount isn't as good as it used to be. It still has a sticky suction cup holding it to the glass, but the spring barely holds the lever in place when some weight is placed on it. Overall I like this device when it works. Basically I ordered a new one because after a year my mounting arm stopped sticking (the sticky stuff melted). So, with a little parts swap, I'm back and working. I would be disappointed if I didn't have a backup charging part that works even in the heat.
