I should not have annealed a piece of steel advertised as annealed.

2 sides of the steel appear to have been cut with a plasma cutter or other method that reinforces the edge on 2 sides. Both sides need to be annealed to make them usable. I should not have annealed a piece of steel advertised as annealed.
