I think the idea of a phone holder that connects to a charger so you can charge wirelessly is by far the best idea including windshield suction cups, air vents , sockets, cup holders, CD slot or anything else. Now this product gets an upgraded rating because it comes with an AC vent adapter so you can easily replace it if you are unhappy with the cigarette lighter socket performance. . However, if you are buying this because you need a lighter, my review here will be of value to you before you buy. The lighter can rotate easily. I guess if you can bend it straight up and relieve the pressure, but what's the point if it gets your phone in the way of control or creates a security issue? It's disappointing that this current model doesn't work properly. I like this idea. I think the charger should have an adjustable mount that can act as legs or stand for whatever is under the cigarette lighter (usually a tray for sunglasses or change). If you use this technology properly, I will not only buy a replacement, but I will happily give a full star rating.
