When this product arrived I was immediately disappointed because of the chemical/plastic smell. Definitely not something I want my kitties to smell. I also ordered four large carriers as I expected them to be more spacious for my cats. Let's just say it's a comfortable fit. In the end we decided to leave her. We hung them outside to get rid of the smell and then put them in the living room to see if the cats would naturally run in and curl up. Yes they did! We live in California and originally made this purchase in response to wildfires in case our area had to be evacuated. We have six cats and want them all to travel safely should the need arise.
