High noise level is good for lighter
I bought this lighter to light candles, especially when the wick goes very deep in the glass. The first few times the backup took a little longer than expected. It takes a little getting used to - I couldn't really tell if it was glowing or not, or how close I had to get to the fuse. But my main complaint is the noise it makes - it doesn't make the "Zi-Zi" sound as written. It makes a very high pitched sound like a dog whistle and every time I use it my dog gets scared. Since I can't use this without my dog's incessant barking, I ended up giving it to someone (who doesn't have a dog).
