I received a 17 inch coat for my 33 pound McNab Shepard which measures 25 inches in circumference, 22 inches in back and 18.5 inches in shoulder. She is 10 years old, she is getting old, but she is still very active and full of energy. Almost every day we take my other dogs for hours off leash runs and she can slip out of her coat and come back naked. I'll have to go into the thick undergrowth to find it if I'm lucky enough to be able to see it from the trail. The velcro seems to partially come off, unlike coats that are 26 inches or larger. This has never happened to me with my other two coats on my Great Dane. Overall I am very satisfied with the material and workmanship. Belly closure similar to larger coats and more secure/tighter for leaner and sportier breeds This is a good buy if my dog manages not to lose it.
