Review on Displayport Monitor Support Wireless Keyboard External Components by Chris Santos

It just works. Good price!

It's a cute little box! I'm connecting two Debian 10 Linux machines, each running a Radeon RX460 and a Nixeus DP display at 2560x1440. So far, so good. I haven't plugged in the dedicated USB power cord yet and it works. I suspect the extra power consumption is to maintain EDID status when both PCs are asleep, but I don't know. The instruction manual is complete "minimal". Although it comes with a USB 5V power cable, it doesn't come with a power adapter to plug in. The spec says it only draws 2.5W, so I dig an old USB charger out of the trash can. The included DisplayPort and USB cables are quite satisfactory. I'm a bit picky about image quality and can't detect any noise or creep when using it. Luckily the bad old days of analogue VGA signals going to hell via KVM are over - digital FTW! Now I'm tidying up my desk without the extra screen, keyboard, and mouse. I'm glad I jumped at the chance to purchase this affordable newcomer to the market.
