Review on Upgraded Refrigerator Thermometer Wireless Temperature by Angela Wash

UPDATE: 12/10/2020 BUYER WARNING: SENSOR IS NOT WORKING, NO ALARM OR INDICATION. IT JUST DONE. REPLACED THE BATTERIES AND IT STILL NOT WORKING, CHANGE THE BATTERY IN THE CONTROLLER AND STILL PROBLEM 2. THE SENSOR IS THE WINDOW CLOSED SO IT CANNOT RETURN. THE FREEZER IS OPERATING BUT THE TEMPERATURE IS NO LONGER DISPLAYED. INSTALLE A MECHANICAL THERMOMETER AND IT SHOWS -10 f SO THE FREEZER IS WORKING / THE ALARM AND SENSOR #1 DO NOT WORK. DO NOT RELY ON IT TO PROTECT YOUR FROZEN FOOD. THIS REVIEW IS BLANK / SEE. UPDATE We have a freezer in the garage and one in the kitchen in the house. They are separated by several walls and the surrounding area by about 40 feet. There is no air conditioning in the garage and certainly not in the house/kitchen. We also have old-fashioned certified mechanical temperature sensors in each of our freezers. Both mechanical freezer temperature sensors are within 1-2 degrees of this unit and work great! This Brifit Fridge Thermometer, 2 Units Wireless Digital Freezer Thermometer works amazing. gives us rest. Last year our meat fridge in the house died and we lost all the meat in a couple of years. Our side of beef, our game, salmon and poultry are spoiled. Due to a broken compressor in our freezer in the garage. over $1,700.00. Insurance only paid $300 in damages. So this year we swapped out both freezers and bought this alarm to keep our frozen food investment in check. This is an amazing device and we tested it by placing it in freezers and then reaching a stable temperature <-0. We set the alarm, took one and put it on the counter to keep it warm and sure enough the alarm went off at the exact temperature we set the alarm for. (loud little sucker lol) then checked the other broadcast block and it went offline. The alarm clock is nasty enough to wake us up, so we're VERY VERY happy with this protection. It even has a low battery alarm, WOW!
