I tied it to my bedside table and it hovers over my head while I'm in bed watching Netflix. My wife says I've found a way to be even more lazy, but the pain in my elbow that I got from holding my phone is gone! Life is good. The slip can slip if you try to adjust it in a cropped state, but it's strong, as you'd expect. a little tighter, and it might have been too hard to pinch.
