I liked them so much that I ordered two more pairs. I used to buy knee socks and liked them, but I needed a pair of thigh socks for a medical procedure on my varicose veins. I like them even more than the big ones. In addition to varicose veins, I also suffer from swelling and knee problems. The high thigh length supports the muscular sheath around my knees and prevents my knees from popping and shifting, a condition I've suffered from for years. I'm 5'11" and over 300 lbs. I ordered a size 2X. I have long legs and wasn't sure if they would be long enough for me. No problem. They are easily mid-thigh I also wondered if they would stay in place and if they were too tight. Again, no problem. They absolutely stay in place and are very comfortable to wear. I had to have them 48 hours right after the procedure I wear them and have to wear them for at least 8 hours every day, they are honestly so comfortable I sometimes forget I'm wearing them, tighter than the other I compared two stockings and one was 1/8 inch narrower than the other. I contacted the seller about the problem.The other two pairs I ordered are fine.I have compared them to each other and to the wider stocking and they are all the same.I put one of these on today with no problems.
