The monitors we use are 4K TVs, but these devices are capable of taking a 1080p image and zooming it into a 4K screen. The moral of the story is that once you get these devices, your only limitation is your WiFi environment. , even if you don't have a 5GHz router, these devices can support 2.4GHz, you just need to enable this support in the settings.
