Review on AEM 21 549C Metal Intake System by James Roberts

I installed this for my son in law for daily driving. Installation went without problems. The only problem area I noticed was where the piping entered the wing. They provide a small rubber pad around the metal fender edge, but it won't be secure. I used an orange RTV to attach the pipe and made it a little thicker so it had enough padding. If this is not done the whistle can resonate and be very distracting, at the same time it will scratch the surface of the whistle if you are someone who cares about looks. My brother-in-law takes care of the functionality and reported a 15% increase. in overall performance and fuel consumption. He bought this fuel saver kit and did it. I will be installing Tornado Air for the next fuel economy upgrade as they work well with CCA kits.
