We have a quite stubborn puppy who loves to bark and bother our 6 year old Golden. We tried everything to make it stop, this collar worked after 2 repairs. Only use vibration as the sound scares our puppy and he will run away from where he thinks the sound is coming from. To be honest I wouldn't use the shock feature on this device or any other device with any of my Goldens, they don't threaten anyone or other creatures so I'm shocked when I kill this breed. As I said, the 1-2 vibration was enough for us. Now we put a collar on him several hours a day and we didn't have to use him, just putting that collar on makes him well behaved. Updated 05/26/2021. The company contacted me about the battery life and verified that the remote control charging is correct. User error, works great now and battery lasts longer. Many Thanks.
