Review on Leviton 101 EP Residential Polarized Non Grounding by Richard Nonya

Revainrating 4 out of 5

I had to cut off areas of the connector cover to cover/accommodate the wires it was designed for. Otherwise nice cover.

Very nice case. Well made and inexpensive. The instruction is clear. There is one caveat though - not all the wires it's designed to "fit" in the case if connected as advertised - it won't close! [2 pieces of flat wire; 18th of August; polarized] We had to shorten the cords for several fluorescent lights that were installed under several of our kitchen cabinets. So my husband had to use a utility knife to cut out specific sections of the case to actually fit the wire it was designed for - and the case would be closed and secured with a screw. When that was done, everything was fine. But the bottom line is that the case is too small/handy for all the cables it is supposed to fit into.

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Cord is shorter than other picks
