Simple and good USB audio alternative for Pi Zero

I originally got this because I had problems with the Pi's USB data port Zero had. So far this works great, you just have to pay attention to the GPIO pins used and their schematics are well documented.

Pros

Contains SSS1629 audio chip, uses USB bus, no drivers, plug and play

Cons

Expensive insurance
