I was looking for a clean, modern outlet by my bed. Unfortunately, I wouldn't buy this device again, even though it has a sensible mix of power outlets and USB charging ports. The problem is the weight of a massive cable compared to a small and light device. You have 3 options. Hang it from the ceiling in your garage as a surveyor, lay cable and block flush (like on the floor) or finish with a power block that flips up. Imagine the line weighed 5 pounds and the reel only 1 pound and you begin to understand why the line couldn't hang off the reel without tipping it up. A power outlet is located on the bottom of the unit, so velcro isn't an option if you think about it.
