I'll use this occasion to issue a word of caution to potential buyers: please do try them on before purchasing. These headphones are tailor-made for my hearing needs. They don't pinch or slide out of place and fit snugly. My ears, though, are what I'd call "normal average man ears," and I always use "usually average" ear pads, etc. However the headphones didn't sit well on my wife's little ears; they protruded and even pressed a little. So, there is a possibility of disappointment if you buy something without first trying it on. I highly suggest investing in a new pair of headphones.
