feels good in the hand. My 4 year old is afraid I'll cut his hair because he's scared of cutting his hair (why?) so I specifically looked for a rounded tip to avoid accidentally hitting him when cutting his hair. These work great. Super sharp, safe, comes in a molded box and has a vinyl sleeve and suede cloth. I love that the scissors can be disassembled, cleaned and tightened with a screw knob. A small red thing popped out of one pair, but this is not a functional issue. I have both regular scissors and thinning scissors.
