I ordered quite a few adapters that said they would fit my old Panasonic TV and my new Roku. None worked. This worked great. It was easy to install (and I'm technically retarded!) and now I don't have to get rid of my amazing TV. The price was very high but less than buying a new TV if it works well. FYI I don't know my TV model, I bought it around the year 2000 so you are using an old TV, I hope this helps.
