Good, affordable, easy-to-use

Netflix has informed me that I can no longer receive their content on my Blu Ray player. Of the four options they listed as possible replacements, this one had the best reviews and price. It gets enough power from my TV so I don't have to plug it in. Setup was easy and it works flawlessly. My only complaint is that the video ends before I can read the credits. You shrink the "outgoing" video to a tiny screen and queue up the next one. Cable TV has the same troublesome practice. I can go back to

Easy to use and reliable. Great way to stream.

I have a "Smart TV" but have found that I prefer to stream with ROKU. I gave them away to friends. Remote control is so easy, it takes fewer steps to get what you want than with a smart TV system.

Yahoo! TV & Video

I ordered quite a few adapters that said they would fit my old Panasonic TV and my new Roku. None worked. This worked great. It was easy to install (and I'm technically retarded!) and now I don't have to get rid of my amazing TV. The price was very high but less than buying a new TV if it works well. FYI I don't know my TV model, I bought it around the year 2000 so you are using an old TV, I hope this helps.

Faulty unit fits streaming media player

I got this Roku Express Plus to replace Roku One on an old TV that only has RCA inputs because Roku One didn't allow Youtube TV to be added. This unit appears to have been returned by someone else as the package was already open when received. When I plugged it in and tried to stream with Prime, it frequently buffered (hung) and then the video and audio went out of sync for a few seconds. Never had any of these problems with Roku One in the same place. Before ordering this unit I received a new

Planned obsolescence?

Everything worked for about a week! The Wi-Fi reception dropped from excellent to poor. The old Roku 2 device he replaced is still showing great Wi-Fi coverage in the area! I figured it was a one time problem with this unit only. However, later visits to Roku's online forums reveal that this is a fairly common problem with the Express model. Waste of money, time and effort.

Bad Block on Streaming Media Players
