just put one of these in my frigidaire tonight. I couldn't get it right at first, it slipped almost all the way and then obviously hit the back end in a way that didn't look like it would work (it stuck out 3/4" and the water wouldn't drain) I tested it on an OEM filter I had just removed and everything seemed pretty much the same, I tried a few more times with no luck and then decided to apply a little more pressure and then it's halfway through Broke away.Place.Then I squeezed a bit more and it went all the way through and I could start using it.I skipped the water for about 3-5 minutes.The taste of water is the same and it seems the same way too work.Given 4 stars due to the extra effort required to get it in place.The OEM versions require a little push to sit down and get the button to click but this thing took wa s I felt on the verge of "I" I'll break it if I squeeze harder.
