I wish I had opened one of these up when I got it, then I would know it "fits" in my Frigidaire WF2CB slot no matter what how hard we try. Now it's garbage because I realized it's too late to return it. Bought another brand from Home Depot, very easy to install and very happy with it. I suggest you DO NOT buy it if you are looking for WF2CB.

Excellent quality, good build quality and fairly easy panel mount. This filter is activated carbon, it removes chlorine and makes our water crystal clear. Or will NOT remove the same chemicals as pesticides and oil according to standards like PureSource2 oem. OEM is a lot more money depending on your water source. It's good to know. The replacement water filter slips out when the water dispenser is used. After many attempts to reinstall the device, I searched the problem on Google and found that the problem is widespread and no solution was found for the filter I bought. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS SELLER! SAVE YOUR MONEY! At first the filter worked fine for about 3.5 months, then numerous gray bits (which I think are parts of the filter) started floating in the water. They were quite difficult to install, although that may be because I bent the bracket when I first tried to install it or when I removed the old filter. The good news is that if installed incorrectly, you will not be able to add a decorative front cover and most importantly, there will be NO water leaking from your internal water dispenser.
