Review on 🍶 Tier1 WF2CB PureSource2 Refrigerator Water Filter Replacement, NGFC 2000, 1004-42-FA, 469911, 469916, FC100 - 2 Pack by Joe Medlin

Bought a set of 2. I installed the first one following the instructions. I manage properties and change them regularly, so this isn't my first rodeo with a fridge water filter. Everything seemed fine. We ran "water through the filter for 3 minutes" as instructed in the instructions. Everything is fine, right? nope If you come back in an hour there will be water on the floor in front of the fridge. Open the door - all the tanks on the door are filled with water. Have you ever seen ketchup floating in your fridge? I have. Everything in the fridge ended up needing cleaning/cleaning/drying - luckily the wooden floors weren't wet long enough to damage them. All in all about 3-4 gallons poured into my fridge. I can't say for sure, but I think the collar under the o-ring was deformed. I think this is a manufacturing defect and not damage to the device in transit. O-rings were good. Installed the second one, it worked (and still works a week later) fine. So about 50% success rate with this product. Be sure to pay attention to the filter when you buy it, because to start you will be using water from home. If that fails, you should see fairly persistent drips under the filter.
