Coolant temperature error

I was glad that the goods were sent and received quickly. It was well packed. However, I installed it on my '94 Chevy Cavalier and the scale peaked. I disconnected and checked that everything is connected correctly. I drove into town (about 30 miles) and bought one at an auto parts store. I don't get too upset about it because sometimes you get a lemon. For like $6 or $7 I won't bother with a refund. I just wrote this to let someone know about checking things out.
