Review on πŸ”₯ Thermaltake Massive 20 RGB 10-19 inch Laptop Cooling Pad CL-N014-PL20SW-A with Steel Mesh and Single 200mm Fan by Chris Lapan

Revainrating 4 out of 5

RGB laptop stand first, then laptop cooler (if equipped)

Moves a disappointing amount of air for the size of the fan. I wish the watch face was bigger because the fan isn't that loud even at max volume and I've used large Thermaltake fans in the past so I know they can run faster. Even if the fan spins faster, the airflow is not very directed. That means it's better at pushing air to the sides of my (15.6-inch laptop) and cooling my palms while typing than it is at cooling the hot i7 7700HQ in the MSI laptop I use it with, although the Laptop has large open air vents directly above the center of the fan. This fan appears to be more efficient as a static pressure extractor than a directional fan. To be honest I don't know how much this has affected my temps as there are too many variables. It might be a few degrees colder than before, but I was just hoping for a big and noticeable difference. RGB lighting on every other device in my setup. Keeping it a solid shade of red is really good for my desktop and other nearby nerds and input devices, but turning it on in any of the other modes is just plain annoying. I have no idea who really wants that thing as a flashlight. The rainbow mode, which has colors swirling around the edge, would look cooler if it were smoother. The only acceptable mode is when all light sources smoothly switch between colors at the same time. charge rate. can look elsewhere. i know i will
